My love affair with Russian rye
I thought I didn’t like rye but had my heart set on making the “Emmentaler, balsamic onion, and rye grilled cheese” from the Smitten Kitchen cookbook.
The grilled cheese was just ok but the bread… The bread! This sandwich opened my eyes! So now I’m full of questions, like:
