Corned beef spices

I’m about to begin cooking corned beef and cabbage but am curious about the best way to remove all of the pickling spices once it’s finished. Last year, we got lazy and tried to eat around it, but the texture and flavor was overwhelming. Will rinsing remove too much flavor? Reading More May Cause Envy…
