coq au vin menu for six person dinner party * input?

Longtime reader, first time posting!
I’m planning a small dinner party for six that will include an older European couple. My proposed menu:
~ cold-smoked sturgeon with black rye bread and crackers ~
~ an elegant plated salad of some sort (suggestions welcome!) ~
~ Julia Child’s coq au vin with parsleyed Reading More May Cause Envy…
