Jerusalem artichoke in broth?

I am making a big vegetable broth, and I have like 5 kg of Jerusalem artichoke. I’ve never put it in broth, I’m wondering what flavor does it add to a broth? Is it a like a potato-y thing? Or parsnip? I don’t wanna ruin the broth, but it seems Reading More May Cause Envy…
