Banoffee pie crusts. Is this a good idea?

I am making banoffee pies today for the first time, from a recipe found on Taste.
It calls for springform small pie tins, but I don’t have them and I want to make smaller ones anyway.
So I am using my muffin pan, but I haven’t greased it because there is a Reading More May Cause Envy…
