As the only film festival where you get to eat what you see on the screen, the Food Film Festival returns to NYC this fall with even more food, drink, and films. Over the course of five days from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, the festival will screen films that range from highly anticipated world premiers to quirky shorts. Each night has a theme like Cocina Peruana and Just Add Sriracha with delicious films paired with equally delicious food. All screenings take place at AMC Village 7 in East Village.

This inaugural event promises over 250 wines to be paired with savory hors d’oeurves, cheese and crackers, and artisan food tables with gourmet pizza and decadent chocolates. If the Brooklyn Crush Wine got you craving even more of this adult grape juice, head on over to its sister event in lower Manhattan for the NYC Autumn Wine Festival, which is celebrating its second annual event. While the Manhattan event will feature fewer wine selections (200+, which is still a lot!), it will have additional food sampling tables as well as wine classes to enhance your wine knowledge. The event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Broad Street Ballroom.

Do wines and cocktails taste better on a boat? You can answer the question yourself by boarding a cruise around Manhattan and the New York Harbor at the Holiday Spirits. This annual event features an array of more than 25 distilleries and wineries, as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a live jazz quartet, and DJ as you enjoy the breathtaking view of the Manhattan skylight and the Statue of Liberty. Don’t miss this ship that leaves the dock at Pier 40 at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Catch these events when they return next year!

The event features restaurants from Chelsea to the Meatpacking District. All ticket and raffle sales will benefit the Lab School for Collaborative Studies. The event is also environmentally friendly, promising zero-waste by collecting all food scraps, utensils, and serving dishes that are recycles or compostable.

You can redeem each taste ticket ($40 for 5 tastes) for the much-hyped ramen burger, seasonal pumpkin spiced macron, or savory pork belly waffle slider.
