apple cider substitute

I am making the Stuffing with mushrooms. The recipe calls for a little apple cider, but I have just realized that I don’t have cider or apple juice at home. I do have apple vinegar, but I’ve read that it is not a proper substitution. Reading More May Cause Envy…
