Help doctoring caramel sauce

My mom gave me a jar of the salted caramel she made yesterday. She uses Nigella’s recipe but something didn’t quite turn out right. It’s very light and buttery. Not a strong caramel taste at all. She split the recipe in to three jars and gave me one Reading More May Cause Envy…
