Substitution for yellow split peas?

I mistakenly thought I had yellow split peas but in fact I have chana dal. If I understand correctly, chana dal does not fall apart like yellow split peas. I’m wondering what the best substitution would be. I have:
chana dal
green split peas
brown lentils
red lentils
