Dry brining a commercially brined bird

I’d like to try the dry brine suggested my smitten kitchen in her turkey recipe. I was wondering if this would make a pre-brined bird too salty? I’m talking about a butterball or trader Joe’s brined bird (which states it is enhanced with an 8% salt solution ). I’m hoping Reading More May Cause Envy…
