Sichuan toban-djan - brands available in the U.S.?
I’m looking for a good Sichuanese brand of toban-djan (chili bean paste) that I might be able to find in my local (Philadelphia) Chinatown grocery store. Everything I’ve read online says that Lee Kum Kee’s version is widely available but not exactly authentic (it’s made by a Cantonese company and Reading More May Cause Envy…
