Yes, the whole roots freeze (and thaw 
) very well. I’ve never tried to keep grated turmeric for any period of time, but noticed that it does start to discolor, which I assume is not a good thing, fairly quickly after grating, so I wouldn’t grate it before Reading More May Cause Envy…
